1. how could you argue that was the solution when the guy arbitrarily kept adding numbers to get the numbers in the sequence, lmao. just add x/y/z to your idea to fit the sequence, and then establish your own relation (he didnt even do that, tho, what's the justification for adding 8, of all even numbers?) between the numbers added



2. between 2 solutions, the simpler one is always considered correct (not that he solved it)

It wasn't arbitrary 

If it's odd you add the number if it's even you add 8 

Simpler is subjective

lol. i wouldnt say anything if he added 2, but he picked exactly the number that fits, lmao. why not 43821 for an odd number, or 60 for the even one? oh, it doesnt fit and he didnt even get 6 was a base, even that dumb curry got it

simplicity is usually objective, but thats not even important here because he didnt solve it
