My mom described me as some vile demon to her therapist and brothers and one day I was met with my drunk uncle threatening me that if anything happens to her he'll do somethin' to me or whatever.
Not a joke, and this was maybe when I was 15 or 16 and gaining consciousness in regards to my situation. Says a lot about my family in general. Unironically glad neither of my parents took any effort into raising or spending "quality time" with me, I am not like them and I never will be.

It's better to up and leave. I consider every interaction and thought I have with and about these "people" as an utter insult to my character.
