Your real identity can't be linked to your specific transaction, that is the point of the tumbler. It's true you can find the identity of an address that has interacted with the tumbler, but not the specific transactions. You would need to break several cryptographically secure hash functions. 

I invest in crypto for the same reasons anyone invests in anything. I believe in it (I despise cash and interacting with the software and customer service provided by banks) and I expect it will appreciate in value
