Yeah curry parents are like this. Brutally depressing stuff

 

Once I get independent "enough" and pay back my financial debts to them I'm cutting ties. It's not my mom's fault as she's "mentally-ill" as they say and my dad is really trying his best, but they genuinely bring me down so much. 

If they didn't pressure me so much, I would already be doing my degree right now, instead they forced me to undergo med school and I'm miserable. 

Thankfully at 17 my balls finally dropped and I started to realize that maybe I'm not a chained up dog ( shocker )

So many of the people surrounding me are just trying to bring me down, this time I'm making my own decisions and following my intuition. That has never failed me and I know for a fact that I am a 1000x more brighter than the people telling me to "listen".
