There is some sort of filter when my Dindu parents talk about religion

Like half of the brain stops working 

Reason is abandoned and replaced with the worst arguments I will ever hear 

How come this process doesn't happen when people talk about astrology, moon signs, ghosts etc. 

God I hate my mom 

She says I can't cook beef anymore at home because some people are visiting and she doesn't want to seem immoral 

I ask her on why it's immoral to eat cows when you devour the carcases of other animals everyday 

She says because it's a sacred animal for us 

I say I am not a Hindu 

Then she gets angry and says "if you aren't a Hindu then what are you?"

I say that I don't know but I definitely don't believe in any of the major religions 

And she starts shouting saying 

"How dare you show me attitude" 

So now I need to eat Chicken or cough up extra to buy lamb which is pretty expensive
