urely if china was so dangerous to its neighbors then they would have genocided koreans and japanese people a long time ago (the same way european colonists genocided/oppressed countless indigenous cultures within only the past 400-500 years), yet korean and japanese culture still remains in spite of being neighbors with "dangerous" china for thousands of years lol.

uhh elementary understanding of what really went on. the Han Chinese were bottom class during their most recent dynasty under total domination by the Manchu in the Qing Dynasty. but the Manchu eventually got absorbed even after trying to preserve their own ethnic identity and limiting Han populations into Manchuria. after all, that is the Chinese way and why they house 56 ethnic groups that all basically call themselves han. and why there's a decent genetic and linguistic disparity between northern and southern Han because they aren't the same and they all got absorbed. I believe there is an inherent danger with this but I don't really care. Koreans surviving this mess is actually pretty impressive --  but cucked/sold themselves in the latter half of history, kowtowing to the Manchu. Japanese survived Mongol Yuan dynasty from geography and latter half through modernization, more efficient culture.
