In your case since you are negating my premise, what you are saying is you "think" your problem is 100 percent psychological which is again not true if deduced from my premise. I used the word "most" in the vein of , in most cases fixing the body fixes the mind. I never changed my initial position which was that the brain and the body are intimately connected.

the fact that you feel the need to use unnecessarily complex language suggests that you lack the ability to refute my prior responses and are instead hoping to obscure the actual discussion at hand through verbal sophistry. its not a good look bud, how old are you, like 20?  Giggle Giggle

>heh, if I talk all fancy like it will make me look BIG BRAIN and he wont know how to respond!

as I said before, youre sidestepping in order to avoid admitting you were wrong. I was always advocating a more moderate stance and you were continuously advocating a more extreme stance. you were initially talking in extremes and only later took up a more moderate stance which even you now admit to:

Quote:"I used the word "most" in the vein of , in most cases fixing the body fixes the mind",

however in spite of admitting to taking up a more moderate stance, youre trying to qualify this by claiming that your initial position was always: "the brain and the body are intimately connected", however this is never what we were disagreeing about in the first place (and you know this). we were always disagreeing about the extreme degree to which you broadly apply this stance to everyone, we were never disagreeing about the fact theres an intimate brain and body connection in and of itself. this is a red herring that youre purposely throwing out to obfuscate the fact that you were wrong. to clarify, your original argument was:

Quote:sleep problems are always physiological in origin for every single person

my argument was:

Quote:you shouldnt make such a broad sweeping statement, sure some people have sleep problems that are physiological in nature but for others it might be psychological, what youre saying has some truth but its not true all the time and not in every single case

to recap, you initially came out with a very extreme stance and then walked it back and tried using a more moderate stance once you realized your original position was indefensible, however you tried (and are still trying) to cover up this fact

youre really insufferable btw. I dont respect you for your intellect because its obvious youre a pseud and youre arrogant. people would be much more willing to give you the validation you crave if you would just shove the BIG BRAIN schtick up your ass and act like a normal person instead of coming across like a know it all spaz
