if you give one of them normal clothes and bring them too the psychology office they will get diagnosed with schizophrenia. "Confusion of Identity" "Magical Thinking" 

they will call you the stupid one because you don't get it but they get mad when they can't explain it to normal people

People basically started using symbolism as equivocation for code words but it's basically just a signifier in most instances
