There was a Twilight Zone episode where a dude acquires a special Stopwatch, which is able to pause the world. Every person freezes.
So he uses it to pause people, and then rob banks etc. Then unpause people.
However he accidentally breaks the stopwatch at the end. And now no humans exist on the planet, all are frozen except him.
So given that this is a horror flick, it proves that having Other People present is desirable.
However once you do have Other People, immediately they start to annoy you as well.
