yup especially if they're chinese citizens trying to safeguard their money and investments overseas from the ccp. very meticulous about their money

Yeah investment or retirement really. 

A lot of them retire here in Malaysia ( Johor specifically ) and Singapore due to high standard of living + similar culture to China.

even FOB chinese i've encountered. as opposed to other ethnic groups that come to the west to build their futures, it's like most of them already have money beforehand

on average, this is true. I saw a documentary about this before somewhere on YouTube.
