but the spices they used would linger in the air OUTSIDE for hours. i couldn't imagine how bad it would be if this took place in an apartment complex

The thing is Malaysian Chinese and especially Malays eat curry too lol

Yes there a bad actors obviously from my race but in Malaysian culture it is absolutely not exclusive to us at all. Malay cuisine is heavy in curries too. 

As for the bad behavior stuff, it's really not that common in my Area. My dad owns multiple houses ( in another state, the current house within this one is still being built ) and he has never had trouble with any of them. There was one dirty tenant but he was a foreigner ( Japanese-American I think ) so I won't count it.

That being said the problem is not that big of a deal tbh and is slowly dying out anyways. My current landlord is a Chinese guy too.
