No they don't lol, it's just some racist stereotype. They however always pull the victim card if anything turns on them despite being the most blatantly discriminatory. This however doesn't happen very often so it's cool.

but stereotypes are founded on some level of truth, and there's this common sentiment globally. i think biggest problem would be food smell as i have experience with this in the states as well. i used to live next to an indian family where the houses were distanced pretty far apart, but the spices they used would linger in the air OUTSIDE for hours. i couldn't imagine how bad it would be if this took place in an apartment complex
