why do guys on 4chan think getting an asian gf is a flex?

so many guys on 4chan brag about having an asian gf as if its some huge flex but I think its just cringe. like dont get me wrong, theres nothing inherently wrong with having an asian gf, if thats your thing, thats your thing, theres no problem with that, but why brag about it as if its some accomplishment? this is like if I went to SEA or some other poor country and slayed tons of women there and tried to act as if I was some chad lol. theres nothing to brag about by shooting fish in a barrel
