Risk has numerous meanings. But basically its a concept to represent high chance of failure and/or a failure which results in extremely bad consequences.


It's factored into everyday situations because it's useful. You can't make it tangible, because it's a subjective human judgement.

you're getting quiet at it, at the end of the day it is a probability of something unfavorable happening. we just calculate it so that we can avoid unintended consequences.
