One time I witnessed a maori woman having a mental breakdown in the emergency room at a hospital. idk what her problem was maybe diabetes bullshit because she was fat as hell, but she kept asking for a doctor and refused to talk to people because "they weren't relevant".  Eventually she did see a doctor ahead of everyone because maoris have their own separate branch of services when it comes to things like healthcare, welfare, access to public defenders, getting your licence back etc... but it was pretty funny how she kept repeating "I'm educated, im a strong maori woman and none of you dare lay a finger on me" 

But mostly shit like when people here when they talk on the phone they make sure everyone can hear it, if you're feeling suicidal you're obliged to let everyone in a 100km radius know, telling complete strangers about your friends cancer diagnosis, etc

Idk if its like this elsewhere, im not well travelled
