Perhaps. And naturally I'm nice irl almost always but also can be a bit of a jerk sometimes. Like she told me one time and idk if I mentioned this in the OP, that I should "be nice to the people who genuinely like you" (referring to herself)

I still lean towards "cope" when it comes to things like her using that "date" to test me

I'm curious about your take on this, and this is about another girl.

Suppose you were "seeing" a slutty bartender for a few months (keep in mind she's the one who approached you first and was the one obsessed with you whereas you had ambivalent feelings towards her), had sex a few times but never wanted to commit to her and were 100% transparent about where you stand on this 

At some point she says "next time, it has to be you who initiates" (us meeting at a motel or hotel and fucking), but things cool off and then she contacts you months later to hang out, and you say sure. At some point in your interaction (after she's had a few drinks and smoked some weed) she shows you a picture of a guy she's now fucking. Some other guy who showed up at her bar one night. (You mog the guy but you're phenotypically close). In my head I just felt bad for the bitch. Like she was dating up (me) and now she has to resort to a lower tier guy, maybe someone she can actually keep?

My friend's take on this was "bro she was just signaling to you that she's still slutty and down to fuck," but in my head (because I think I understand her mind better) I was thinking she's trying to make me jealous, but I legit felt nothing
