crypto actually does have a function, just for anything legit

it's value hinges on shady internet bullshit and drug websites. ironically the reasons its appealing for those purposes are the same reasons it will never be adopted on large scale (no recourse if you get scammed because you cant reverse transactions, untraceable if you know what you're doing) + the value fluctuates too much, and 99% of crypto currencies are pump and dump schemes
