Disregarding the whole teen love thing (I was never a big believer, partly cause I had an ugly girlfriend at the time that was funnily enough also taller than me jfl, and partly cause it's bullshit), the main selling point of the JB obsession is the low aprtner count imo, not the collagen or making up for lost time argument
Any insecurities regarding your own performance, size, past etc go out the window since the teenager in question does not know any better and according to studies low partner count individuals tend to have more lasting relationshits of higher quality and such. Finding someone past a certain age that's a virgin or with a really low body count is like finding a needle in the hay stack, even in my engineering field the girls always had more than a few partners in the past (mind you, this is a time consuming field with not as many attractive people in it)
