I'm half Macedonian half Spartan but I wish I were Albanian.

Albanians (aka Illyrians) are the turbochads of the Balkans. Despite being historically outnumbered/politically outpowered by Greeks and South Slavs (who tried everything from suppression to integration to mass murder in order to eliminate them), they still stood their ground and are today closer than any other country in the Balkans to achieving their dream of a Greater nation. Yeah, every country in the Balkans has a dream of being Greater Macedonia, Greater Bulgaria, Greater Serbia, etc. But Albania is the closest, with Kosovo and the western part of North Macedonia (you can't drive anywhere west of Skopje and not see Albanian flags everywhere, and Albanian-speaking people only) inching closer and closer to unity with Albania.

Once they achieve unity, it will have nothing to have had to do with the fact that they got the most backing from the "international community" (code word for greater powers, which is code word for something else), you can argue that the "international community" (or greater powers at the time) actually neglected this part of the world during their most crucial, formative years (and when the country was formalized), same with Macedonians but that's another story. Still, as a result of the preferential treatment Serbs, Greeks and Bulgarians got, it is actually amazing what Macedonians and Albanians were able to achieve

Historically, they were here before the ancient Greeks, before the South Slavs, in fact, they are the first Europeans, which is why Mongol-Turkic hybrids like @Altruist like to disparage them by calling them gypsies (that's his own inferiority complex speaking, and he's a self-admitted 1/4th shitskin Turkroach)

Yeah obviously modern day Greeks and South Slavs have some Illyrian DNA in them too but Albanians have the most. And they're the turbochads of the Balkans, and Europe as a whole.
