the most hilarious part about being a 99.995th percentile lawyer in your country is that there's a number of themes recycling all the time, so, when you find yourself on the side opposite to the one you once argued for, chances are you're gonna have to confront the copy-paste of your own arguments, lmao. 

for me, exactly that is the most entertaining part of the job (demoralizing my colleagues by "adding gas" and constructing equally convincing counter-arguments like i could do it indefinitely, no matter how far into details does the debate go). i sometimes even share my resources and compilations of my precedent (so to speak, since precedents formally aren't a thing outside of commonwealth countries) collections with my colleagues early on (or even preemptively, lmfao), just to speed the process up and get to the point where i can own them with surreal legal logicizing skills once again
