why are humans so worthless?

The whole reproduction is like it's meant for us to go extinct as species. Women stay pregnant for 9 months to give birth to only 1 child that will be a massive liability for like 20% of it's life, unable to provide for itself, essentially non-sentient for the first 3 years, can't even walk, talk, feed, dumber than a dog etc. Physically we are the most worthless species. It's really obscure how such form of life could exist.
