I'm so fascinated in learning about Kastoria's past. Seems like such an enigma cuz so much has been rewritten about it

Have you ever been to the actual city itself? Has such an eerie/ghost-like vibe to it nowadays. That stalagmite Dragon cave thing is pretty unique too

I have never been there, but I'd like to visit. I don't really care about my slavic origins and I identify more with my pontic greek part, but the city itself seems very cool. Small, idyllic location, late ottoman architecture. I wanted to rent a car and visit the area during a weekend pre-covid, when I used to live in Thessaloniki.

I went to Thessaloniki with a non-Greek friend and he agreed Thessaloniki turbomogs Athens
