Everyone on this thread has the right idea. I thought I was with my ex but in retrospect it wasn't actual love because the only true love is from God. While you can have "love" between humans it is only legit when it acts as something that brings them closer to God, like through marriage, brotherhood/sisterhood, treating others in a Christian manner and honoring family. If you try to "love" without God, then it is not really love, because all humans are fallen and predisposed to evil without Him.
