he got mad at me because I was happy just living my own life and wasnt interested in keeping up with the joneses. I find it fascinating that there are people out there (actually a lot) who think this way. there are genuinely tons of people who are just afraid to live life on their own terms and not constantly compare their lives to others. dont get me wrong, I do compare myself to others, but im not going to make 100% or even most of my decisions based on that
