There's some kind of distance when interacting with people too. There's a disconnect.

i am getting weirded out by AI a little. the events of bizarreness have increased, as if the novelty factor has doubled 

in your case it could be depersonalization. sometimes the world seems dreamlike, you might feel weirder if you are in a street with a few of cars
