A couple of anecdotes, last place I worked at was 99% ethnic manual labor kinda work, on this one shift where we had to mop the floors this pajeeta came up to me and said 'you know, me and the other (pajeets) have been talking and we agree, we always feel bad seeing you mop the floors, you don't look like us, you shouldn't be doing this, you should be in the office with the other people' (she ofc said this in more broken English but I'm paraphrasing)

The pajeets kept asking me why I was doing production work when I could easily have been doing something better given my 'apparent' qualifications

And each time I would enter the production facility this Eritrean manlet would be like "Hey, boss is here!" and he would always refer to me as the "professional."
