this is bullshit for a lot of people, me included. no surprise vast majority of self-improving fails when this is universally accepted as true.
i feel the only way out of my degen lifestyle is going full productive self-imroving goggins mode right now, to the point of exhaustion.
why? because all the slow, "moderate" attempts to fix your habit will, with my brain (and most rotting losers have the same brain), lead to me thinking - ok, you've reduced 5% of your bad habits by 10% in the last 2 weeks, therefore you deserve a reward - and we all know what follows after that
