it's midnight, you have to get up early, and there is 0 chance for you to even get sleepy before 3 AM. and you are out of alcohol and sleeping pills, so you can't just brute force it.

you might be right dolly, maybe i should become religious about finding a relaxing evening routine and convince myself it has legit hypnotizing effects

i updated the op. i m out of everything. i took a bunch of klonopins around 9 (pretty much the same shit as xanax), but it's wearing off already and i slept 4 hours in the afternoon today, so i m not naturally tired. also took some melatonin, but that's futile with my current brain setup.

when i was in school/college, i'd often just drink loads of coffee and skip the sleep entirely (i wasnt drinking back then), but i d have some bullshit to do in the morning in those periods - an exam at worst. now it's different, i can't show up barely aware of anything (tiredness catches up by 6-7 in the morning) and manage court hearings where i'm deciding whether to jail someone

Nightmarish and I feel u I am also in the exact same situation my sleeping pills gave me nap in the afternoon and now I can't sleep.

every time you think to yourself - i swear to god this is the last time i got myself in this situation, and then you repeat it in like 3 days. i only stopped bitching about this since i discovered alcohol, but that's obviously anything but a solution to this.

had the same habit when finishing studies. not even that method of skipping a night and then falling asleep early because you are exhausted works, you are back to the same shit within 3 days. it's probably the #1 no-lifer trait.

couldnt fall asleep bc everytime id nod off my brother would shriek and id wake up. after 5x i just couldnt sleep 

i miss having coursework tbh bc i dont do anything
