understanding abstract art is an iq test

Is there a way I can draw shitty pictures and manipulate the masses into thinking they're worth something

All it would take for abstract art to be universally accepted would be one non idiotic explanation for why it has merit. The problem is only idiots defend abstract art

If you come up with a novel idea that makes people think differently, dedicate your whole life to it, and then kill yourself for good measure, then yeah I reckon you could

Intellectuals aka dumbos who like abstract art because they perceived themselves as intelligent and think that's what intelligent people like  Giggle

Keep being emotionally manipulated by con artists into seeing meaning in random paint drizzles

What it boils down to is just suggestibility and susceptibility to manipulation

It's how a lot of rap and electronic toilet music works. Just massive commercialization efforts to brute force it upon the most gullible. With some academics/con artists on the side lending credibility

Academia/media purpose is to just make people believe and think things that aren't natural to them and thus usually not to their beenfit

High susceptibility (openness) = high iq

You need to think outside the box

Even better, painting and drawing are super cliche. Find a different medium for embodying the way you feel about the world

Openness and having no standards are different things.

standards are fake ideas that people force upon each other. true intellectuals break through them

Standards literally maintain civilization. Without it, there is no merit, as there can be no way of measuring quality and defining truth or beauty. You create a feedback loop of bad actors and the clueless leading one another progressively down a state of moral and intellectual ambivalence and cowardice. You are literally allowing your cultural continuity, integrity, history and identity to be destroyed by subversives and parasites just because you can't admit that you are bad at discernment and have shit taste

standards exist to be obeyed by the ordinary, and are created and revised by the extraordinary. thanks for letting us know which bucket you belong in Giggle
