A better goal is curbing insufferable narc behavior that stems from an over inflated ego. Ofc this doesn't apply if your ego is warranted, but holy shit when you encounter a failed narc in the wild you ask yourself "how, and why?". In my case having zero ego would only benefit me... most people need to be humbled, a lot
