Normally nobody replies to my threads about self improvement through using medications/improving your neurotransmitter function/improving your dopaminergic function. , And if they do reply then its just mocking me for "being obsessed with medicatiton" . It seems most people on bookism dont care about self improvement

most are scared of self-medicating because they see doctors as the ultimate authority. using drugs wisely and responsibly can drastically improve quality of life

Oh yeah that seems to be so, intresting point! Yes most people see doctors as the biggest authority. If a doctor says something they will believe it, but if a person on the internet says the exact same thing they're not gonna believe it
