educated people think in nuance; they are capable of realizing and accepting that the truth/answer to some question is just basic and boring, and that there are almost always two sides of the same coin
retards, on the other hand, immediately succumb to adopting a simplistic, infantile narrative as an explanation of the cause of the problem, because that's the only way their brains can process anything. also, all such narratives break down to something being "staged" and/or there being an evil force behind it. santa clause type shit, really. why is this so appealing to them? because it's essentially them absolving themselves of the responsibility to actually think about the problem, with the grandiosity of such assumptions serving as a mere buffer
