Theres always a trade off between peak performance and temperance and the cowboy has arguably achieved a perfect balance in the modern slaughterhouses. Unless technology comes along that can harvest meat in its most nutritious and tasty form from dead animal carcasses, taking good care of animals and then eating them is incredibly virtuous.
this idea that animals lead a better life in the wild than under.domestication is just patently false .They face a much greater degree of suffering in the wild, we are doing them a kindness. even getting shot by a hunter is a better end that what they typically face. veganism debunked
