note, i am not good with logics, nor formality, and this is based on a brief introspection on ADHD as a 'disease'

impose 'x' belief system, that has its etymon crafted as a thesis (i,.e say, now depression is an unnatural condition, instead of a response (to unfavorable circumstances)) and that its' antithesis is the (arbitrarily set) 'normal' (new normal) and that if said subject isn't comporting that manner then he's 'depressed' as this is the desirable outcome for whoever wrote the Scripted belief system
