I have this new theory. Often people are upset over small problems. Like my dishwasher is out of order.
But then they see a much less fortunate soul: someone that lost his arm etc. They conclude: "Fuck. I don't have it that bad after all." But they forgot about More fortunate people: someone living in 2036 has a better YouTube than he does. So in reality it's an infinite sliding scale of fortune, that basically means nothing since it's infinite.
