one day i decided to read the same three pages of a philosophy book (which i won't name) in my native language and in english. in my native language, it was 50% harder to internalize any sentence

Yeah, and I do know Malay as well as some people from Brunei. Brunei is similar to our nation but it is much more religious and conservative.

Fun fact, the king visited my Grandmother's restaurant and learnt how to cook an Indian dish there. I met the guy personally and shook hands with him lol


I was born in Johor, and it borders Singapore so it is a very wealthy state. He was a nice dude, he is one of the more laid back Sultans.

I only heard of these Malaysian states in year 2022 for the first time.

Prior to that, I was like "What the hell are Perlis, Johor and Terengganu?"

It was actually at the coronation of the previous king that I saw those names

Johor is like one of the greats, one of the greatest cities in Malaysia. Surprised you haven't heard of that one, that's where LegoLand Malaysia is at.


As for Perlis, it's some normal underdeveloped place and Teranganu? Yeah, There is nothing in Teranganu other than beaches. That place is piss poor...
