still find it unfathomable that people think "guys" when used this way means "male people"
i got thermonuclear nuked by a trans girl when using that once so i often resorted to "y'all" in some contexts but i fear it comes across like a "im so quirky linguistic thing" if you don't actually have a southern accent. like these people who start emails with "Hi friends" or say "folx" instead of "folks" or who disable autocapitalization on their phones |
