Dr Nadine Barrie Smith
#1
Accomplished Biomedical Engineer and researcher, she co-authored one of the best biomedical engineering books in 2009 with her husband Andrew Webb.
She was widely famous as she is one of the few high achieving females in the biomed field, and had more inputs in the book too.
However, months before the release of the book (in November 18, 2010) , she died "unexpectedly" on April 2, 2010.

It is so obvious what happened. It is heinous to the point where, if u read the book, her introduction is given in present tense, as if she is still alive, and literally no mention of her death, even though the release was posthumous.

May her soul rest in peace.
