It's the worst form of philosophical pessimism, where the subjective concept of "life being more hassle than its worth" wriggles its way out of the minds of its pathetic followers, and into the real world. Friggen annoying when solipsistic and pessimistic ideologies like that attempt to impose their will on people who have the awareness or luck to create positive meaning in the world
