the telos of the printing press and media sensationalism is now digital schizophrenia
similarly to how new agers believe they are everything and all is one, someone that believes the opposite is similar in its horseshoe circularity of 'opposites' (the everything amounts to nothing at all)
now we have a new era of pure psychosis, a lot, a lot to muddle the waters, a sort of memetic and spiritual warfare is realized, with "news" (all news is fake news) psychological operations, deep fakes, AI media everywhere, with very realistic images, and that can confuse anyone. this is the hyper atomization of people, and just as someone new age is solipsistic and truly disoriented to his will, after all hes all and nothing at same time, here we have a paralysis not by a philosophy or a hallucinogen but by the flood of information

not really, he gives agency to tech, thats just bs, but its def possible, at least on my interpretation, that automation and that that is synthetic makes things so saturated and stagnated that the only way is to cycle back to a more natural state in time - this is clear when we think about nuclear weapons, instead of death and renewal theres only time paralysing fear from both sides a la cold war
