but here's the thing -- i look up "freemason" and i scroll through the wikipedia, apparently this secret society was founded by stonemasons???? this is where i'm confused

good question. they dont simply come from stonemason guilds from a few hundred years ago like they claim to the public somethimes. once again they come from templar nobility. i heard one explanation from sean hross saying that because they went to egypt during the crusades that the 'free' part actually means to remove the stonework. as in they freed the masonry - because the templars removed stones from tombs etc to loot the pharonic treasures. i mean why else would crusaders go to egypt of all places? its part of the way they got so filthy rich, among other things. they also simply identify with stone building because, well, thats what pharaohs have always done. europeans never built huge stone structures before they came
