A father who punches you with the belt, calls you a weakling and pushes you to extremes. No time for any cope about how this is not ideal.
We need to return to this style of parenting. Parents are harsh on their kids and brutally force respect.
Also requires the husband being strict in regards to the wife. The wife can never run the show.

In the churches, we need these types as well. Strict priests. No nonsense figures of authority and respect.

I don't advocate for just any form of strict parenting. It has to come from parents, who are deeply interested in the well-being of the child and love it.
Indifference and selfishness in parents can mask in strictness and permissiveness.
