i started 2-3 months ago. 100% sure there were occasions where people could tell i was intoxicated, even in the courtroom (it's less fancy than hollywood makes it out to be), because i'd go overboard and get to the point where it's obvious from the look in my eyes and my inability to speak clearly.

in the last month before quitting recently, i was carrying a bottle to the office more often than not

jesus christ, your comments so off so often. obviously it isn't about the exact look of rooms in every single court on earth, it's just that there is a general perception that court hearings are extremely serious, dramatic shit, that stems from hollywood depictions of those because of its (hollywood's) influence on shaping the perception of the world, at least on the west
