how the fuck do you even organize your daily life?

so many little things to do, without even counting job, eating, hygiene etc

- taking med pills, working out, eating properly, doing chores and other random stuff etc etc

am i supposed to create a to do list for every day like an autist and become a robot? no, thanks

same, but it's kinda taxing, i dont want to have "you didnt do this, you should do that etc" in my subconscious all the time

I think this is just more for those who can't manage their lifestyle well or have too much on their plate

Basic chores, working out, groceries and stuff is less "tasks" and more routine.

I couldn't stay consistent while I was still in HS at 14 but after graduation and forcing myself, it became habitual after a while of repetition.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3505409/

Repetition of an action will eventually lead to it being an ingrained habit in your lifestyle.

This is the reason why we might get annoyed after accidently dropping food on the floor, causing us to waste a minute cleaning. Yet we have absolutely no qualms with the time being wasted snoozing an alarm, showering, brushing teeth, styling hair etc.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17907866/

"Once a habit is formed, perception of contexts triggers the associated response without a mediating goal."

In conclusion, the fact that you don't have a list means you have your stuff sorted out.

You can make reminder for things hyper-specific though, anomalies in your day. Like if you need to fix a door hinge before going to work in the morning, or buying something you missed on the way back.

maybe consciously think "I'll get up now and take my meds" and speedrun it. repeat for the next task and the next task until your action times improve even when you are on autopilot.

It's something I can do for short periods but eventually collapse from the pressure.
