[Looksmax] Should I take Tretinoin off routine?

Heard that it thins your skin in the long run. 

Should I take it out? I am now trying to keep my skin routine as minimal as possible and and what seemed to work was 

1) CeraVe oil control facial cleanser
2) Basic moisturizer, light 
3) Tret

Any of you guys still using tret? And do you think it's better if I get off?

I stopped using tret for a while because of holidays ( left it in my house ) and now starting back and it is burning my skin and purging me like crazy, which is the main reason I wrote this thread, by chin area especially is burning rn. 

It happened before but I built up resistance to it eventually.
