actuary earns minimum wage here I looked into it. I was actually way more interested in finance than law before researching

Business majors usually work some low tier rut corpo job before climbing up

Connections matter more with business so like law or finance is good 

Actuaries here earn a lot relatively and accountants can just go work in Singapore for first world wage and convert to MYR, lot of financial institutions there accepting fresh grads for bone gruelling labour lol

that’s a big if. also depends on what kind of experience u have. if it’s something generic and widely applicable sure but many ppl including myself will have very niche specific experience that there is little consulting work for. also doing stuff like this is definitely not as risk-free and easy as u seem to imply
