NOTE: There are going to be heavy spoilers for the French movie "Pickpocket" (1959) Directed by Robert Bresson. So if you are planning on watching it, its on you don't blame me for ruining the movie experience.

The guy in the picture above -- Michel, is the character I'm talking about.
So a little about Michel, he's basically a NEET under the premise of a "writer", lives all by himself and doesn't like visitors. He has 1 loyal friend who visits him from time to time and apart from that, Jeanne (chick in the pic), who is his mother's neighbor.
The chick digs him beyond anything else (because of looks of course), she doesnt express it, but its so obvious, but this guy's mindset is typical "muh solitude, muh i dont need people to slow down my iq" and says something along those lines.
Idle mind being the devil, this guy picks up Pickpocketing as a hobby and then he gets addicted to it cuz of the proccess, and not the end result.
Basically this guy despite being NEET, read a lot of philosophy and literature, and believes "High IQ people should be let to do whatever they want, free of all laws and consequences, because then we will know what they are truly possible of making and creating."
And when asked about how "we can screen such HIGH IQ people should we choose to implement it", he says "They'll know it within themselves" and when further questioned "Won't every man believe he's the highest IQ person?", he says "Yes", basically diverting the tone of the conversation philosophy to "Survival of the fittest" (insanely smart by the director btw)
The end of the movie is a Dostoevsky-tier "reconnect with community and repent for ur doings" ending and reciprocates the chick's feelings towards him.
I cannot decide if this character reminds me more of @lonelyjak or @MysteriousWeeb420 . Probably a mix of them.
