[Theory]
ADHD caused by low brain energy
#1
far from being a quirky, inborn character trait, this hypothesis exposes ADHD-havers as the braindamaged victims of modernity.

an interesting concept: true ADHD is not 'excess energy', but rather a lack of energy in the brain; high energy levels are required for concentration, and so low brain energy results in an inability to focus. low energy levels also result in a reliance on stress hormones, which creates the appearance of high energy.

and this is why stimulants are used as ADHD medication - they increase brain energy, which allows for concentration. non-ADHD individuals can also use stimulants for increased concentration.

it's really no surprise that people sitting inside, staying up all night scrolling on tickcuck, are struggling with ADHD - their environment has literally gave them braindamage.
