He thinks he will copr by believing that you have zero reason to be depressed if you don't know everything. If this is true, you have zero reason or basis to believe this on its own. Moreover you also have beyond negative reasons to believe everything will be okay, considering your life has confirmed the negative much more than the positive by factors of trillions.
