Asked my mom on why she didn't go with my Dad on some trip a while back to Australia.


Her response = Cancelled due to finding out she was pregnant.

On a separate occasion, my family was teaching me on money management. 

I calculated that they were allocating over 50 percent of their expendable income to loans. 

I asked why

My Dad's response : Payment for my early schooling and whatnot reduced the expendable income greatly. 

I reminded him that he told me to never exceed 30 percent of allocation for loans in my salary specific to a m40 income bracket.

He said : That's how life works 

Then I asked : So I was an accident?

My dad reluctantly replied : Yes 

And then we had a conversation. I wasn't too bothered by it. Just disappointed that I was the accident while my brother was planned. "Coincidentally", quote on quote, my mom obviously loves my brother far more. I cope with blaming it on her mental illnesses
